The human body, male or female, has a ratio or natural balance of hormones, such as Testosterone and Estrogen. Tamoxen is designed to inhibit the conversion of Testosterone (androgen) to Estrogen. This naturally occurring conversion is the result of the body noticing that there is an abundance of Testosterone in the body and in the hopes of maintaining its normal homeostasis or balance, converts some of the excess Testosterone to Estrogen. This conversion is especially prevalent in athletes supplementing with Testosterone enhancing pro-steroids or anabolic steroids. The body recognizes an abundance of the Testosterone hormone and increases its rate of conversion of that hormone to Estrogen. For an athlete whose goal is to increase muscle size and strength while decreasing their recovery time, this reduction in Free Testosterone, supplemented or not, results in a metabolically induced step in the wrong direction.

Tamoxen is a proprietary formula that was designed to increase free Testosterone to Estrogen ratios as well as decrease Estrogenic effects. Larger amounts of naturally produced Testosterone in the bloodstream reduces recovery time from exercise, increases protein synthesis and sex drive, while allowing for more intense workouts. Inhibiting the conversion of supplemented testosterone from Pro Steroids or Anabolic Steroids can result in fewer adverse side effects such as water retention, gynocomastia, and increased body fat deposits. Another result of inhibiting this conversion is, because there is less loss of supplemented Testosterone to Estrogen, less Testosterone would have to be supplemented to achieve the same performance levels.

Tamoxen accomplishes these goals by interfering with the sex hormone binding globulin, which allows hormones to remain bioavailable longer. It also contains phytochemicals, which inhibit aromatization of Testosterone to Estrogen and phytochemicals that bind to estrogen receptors and have anti estrogenic properties.

Intake Recommendations
The capsules should be taken towards the middle or end of a prohormone/steroid course of treatment. One capsule twice daily for the first week. Increase the dose thereafter to one capsule three times a day (only in the case of acute or severe gynacomastia!). Do not take more than 3 capsules in 24 hours on any account.
